- Flexible admissions schedule: Currently accepting applications for 2015-2016 school year based on space availability.
- Fees: The baseline fee for the 2014-2015 school year is $16,000. We use a sliding scale based on a family’s income. We also accept payments are usually made in monthly installments from August – June. Fees are prorated for the portion of the school year enrolled.
Step 1: Research
We do things differently from most of the world. To see if what we do resonates with you, please take a look at some of the videos, books, and articles that have inspired, and represent this approach to learning and community. Dig into the content in our About section. Check us out on Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter and our blog.
Step 2: Attend
Attend a Parent Interest Night. Dates for future Parent Interest Nights are listed here. If your child is interested and able to join the conversation, bring them along! This will be an opportunity to meet our facilitators, some parents, and see our space.
Step 3: Apply
Complete our online application and we’ll contact you to schedule your child’s visiting week.
Step 4: Visiting Week
The visiting week allows the student to experience what it is like to be here and allows everyone to determine if our ALC is a good fit. The visiting week fee is $150. We will be in communication with you throughout the visiting week. Often, we are able to move forward with enrollment after 2-5 visiting days.
Step 6: Final Enrollment
If it looks like a mutual fit after the visiting week, we will move forward with enrollment. Make sure to print and complete all enrollment related forms. You can find them here.
Enrollment can officially begin when the enrollment agreement is signed (and all other enrollment forms are submitted) and the deposit has been paid (first two month’s of tuition).
